Floating Bridge
The first floating bridge at this location was built by
Luther Adams and neighbors in 1820. The present bridge is the seventh and was built by the
Vermont Agnecy of Transportation District 6 in 1978. The bridge floats on Sunset Lake,
more commonly known as Brookfield Pond. Approx. 20 minutes from the Rustic Restaurant
& Motel.
